Online weight loss clinic, led by UK GPs
Lose the weight. Keep it off.
Clinically guided weight-loss treatment, starting with a free consultation with one of our GPs.
- Free initial consultation with a GP
- A prescriber decides what — if anything — is right for you
- Monthly reviews, and we contact you when a repeat is due

Lasting weight loss is about more than willpower. Your first consultation is free and without obligation: a GP talks through your goals and health, and only then discusses whether treatment is appropriate for you.

How your weight loss consultation works
- Step 1
Book your free consultation
Choose a time online. We only ask for your name, date of birth and contact details. There's nothing to pay and no long form to fill in.
- Step 2
Talk to a GP
Dr Sandy asks about your weight history, eating, activity, sleep, any health conditions and the medicines you take. We look at your BMI and waist measurement, and whether anything needs checking first. You can ask anything.
- Step 3
Agree a plan together
Your GP explains your options, including lifestyle support and any treatment that might be appropriate, with the risks and alternatives. If you decide to go ahead, any costs are explained before anything is arranged. If a plan isn't right for you, we'll say so.
- Step 4
Regular reviews
We check in regularly, usually every month, to see how you're getting on and adjust your plan. We get in touch when your next review is due, so nothing slips because you were busy.

Honest FAQs
How much does a weight loss consultation cost?
Your first consultation with a GP is free and without obligation. If you decide to continue, your clinician explains any costs before you agree to anything, and you'll never be charged for something you haven't agreed to.
Is the consultation online or in person?
Online. You speak to a GP from home, work or wherever suits you. Your reviews are online too.
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No. You can book directly. If your clinician thinks it would help to share information with your NHS GP, they'll talk to you about it first.
Will I definitely be offered medicine?
No. Your clinician decides what, if anything, is appropriate, based on your health, your BMI and your history. For some people the best plan is support with eating, activity and sleep. Where medicines might be suitable, they're discussed with their risks and alternatives. Either way, you'll get an honest answer.
What if treatment isn't right for me?
We'll explain why and suggest what might help instead, including NHS options such as local weight management services. The first consultation is free, whatever the outcome.
How long will I be under your care?
That depends on your goals and your plan. Steady, supported change tends to be easier to keep up. We review your plan regularly and adjust it as you go, and you can pause or stop at any time by talking to your clinician.
Can I use the service if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
Weight loss treatment usually isn't recommended while you're pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive. Please tell us if any of these apply. We'll talk it through and point you to the right support.
When should I get urgent help?
This service isn't for emergencies. Call 999 for chest pain, severe breathlessness or signs of a stroke. If you feel unwell and aren't sure what to do, call NHS 111. If you feel unwell while you're under our care, get help first, then let us know.
