Frequently asked questions
Everything you might want to know before you begin. Still stuck? The care team is a message away.
How do I get started?
Book a consultation for the service you're interested in. For weight loss, menopause and ADHD the initial consultation is free. We'll ask for your name, date of birth and contact details — for TRT and thyroid we also ask a few short clinical questions so your clinician can make the most of the appointment.
Who will I be speaking to?
A GP or a specialist clinician, depending on the service. Each service page says exactly who delivers it. Dr Sandy leads initial consultations for weight loss and ADHD.
What does it cost?
Initial consultations for weight loss, menopause and ADHD are free. Where treatment is appropriate, your clinician will explain the cost before anything is prescribed or invoiced — you'll never be charged for something you haven't agreed to.
How do I pay?
If your clinician prescribes treatment, we raise an invoice and you pay securely by card. Payment happens after your consultation, never before.
Where does my medication come from?
Renvo doesn't dispense medication. Your clinician issues a prescription which we send to our registered dispensing partner, who supplies it to you directly.
What happens after I start treatment?
Your clinician sets a review schedule — usually monthly. We contact you when a review or repeat prescription is due, so you don't have to keep track of it yourself.
Are there side effects?
All medicines can have side effects. Your clinician will talk you through what to expect for your specific treatment, how to manage it, and when to get in touch. If anything concerns you between appointments, message us.
Can I stop or change my treatment?
Yes. Talk to your clinician at any point — they can adjust your plan, pause it, or stop treatment. Nothing renews automatically without a clinician reviewing it first.
Is my information private?
Your clinical records are held in our clinical record system and handled in line with UK data protection law. We only use your contact details to provide your care and to reach you about reviews, unless you've separately opted in to hear from us about anything else.
