Choose a time online. We only ask for your name, date of birth and contact details. There's nothing to pay for this first appointment.

Talk to Dr Sandy
Dr Sandy asks about what you've noticed, how it affects your work, home and relationships, and your wider health. Together you decide whether a specialist assessment is the right next step, and the cost is explained before you go ahead.
- Step 3
Specialist assessment
A specialist carries out a structured ADHD assessment, looking at your childhood, your current symptoms and your daily life, and checking for anything else that could explain your difficulties. They explain the outcome and your options.
- Step 4
Your plan and ongoing reviews
If you're diagnosed, your specialist talks through your options and agrees a plan with you. Your care is reviewed regularly, and we get in touch when your next review is due.

How much does a private ADHD assessment cost?
The initial consultation is free. The cost of the specialist assessment is confirmed at that consultation, before you decide whether to go ahead. You'll never be charged for something you haven't agreed to.
Is the assessment online?
Yes. Your initial consultation, specialist assessment and follow-up reviews all happen online, so you can take part from home.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book directly, without a referral from your NHS GP.
Can I get an ADHD assessment on the NHS instead?
Yes. You can ask your NHS GP for a referral. In England, you may also be able to use your right to choose an NHS-funded provider, although waiting times vary. Our guide to getting an adult ADHD assessment in the UK explains every route.
Will my NHS GP be involved after a private diagnosis?
Some GP practices agree to a shared care arrangement after a private diagnosis and some don't. It's worth asking your practice before you start. Your clinician will explain how ongoing care would work if your practice can't share it.
Is the online self-screener a diagnosis?
No. A screening questionnaire, like our free ADHD self-screener, can suggest whether a full assessment is worth considering, but only a qualified specialist can diagnose ADHD.
What if I'm not diagnosed with ADHD?
That's a valid outcome, and useful to know. Your specialist explains what they found and what might be behind your difficulties, such as anxiety, sleep problems or hormonal changes, and suggests next steps.
When should I get urgent help?
This service isn't for emergencies. If you feel unable to cope or are thinking about harming yourself, call NHS 111 and choose the mental health option, call Samaritans on 116 123, or call 999 in an emergency.
